AGE REQUIREMENTS:
Child is at least 3.0 years old but less than 4.0 years old by September 1

POTTY TRAINING: Potty Training OK but in the end stages

CARE OPTIONS:
5 DAYS (Monday-Friday):
Full Time (6:30 am-6:00 pm)
Part Time (9:00 am-3:00 pm
Half-Day (9:00 am-12:00 pm)

3 DAYS (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
Full Time (6:30 am-6:00 pm)
Half-Day (9:00 am-12:00 pm)

2 DAYS (Tuesday and Thursday)
Full Time (6:30 am-6:00 pm)
Half-Day (9:00 am-12:00 pm)
Please Note:  In order to help new students adjust to their new environment and routine, all new students wanting a 2 day schedule are required to begin their first month in a five day schedule.  Once they are adjusted, we will change their schedule to your desired 2 days per week.

DESCRIPTION OF DRAGONFLIES CLASS:
Dragonflies is potty-trained and fully self-sufficient. This morning and full-time program will allow for flexible schedules of 2, 3 or 5 days per week. The curriculum will include Handwriting Without Tears, Jelic, and ZooPhonics, Music & Movement, Hands Around the World, Gardening, and Science Discovery. This program helps prepare children for Kindergarten.

10:45 am-12:00 pm Edible Yard (Students rotate in groups through the week): G2K, Tipi, Native American Center, Hands on Art, Chicken Coop, Hawaiian Center, Village, Carpentry, Sandbox, Games on the Hill & Gardening, Science, Chapel on Wednesdays
12:00 am-12:30 pm Lunch Time
12:30 pm-2:50 pm Outside Play
1:00-2:45 pm Rest Time
2:45-3:15 pm Clean Up

Valley Christian School has listed Neighborhood Christian Center an an "Exemplary Preschool." We have partnered with one of the best schools in the area, Valley Christian Schools and we commit to prepare our students for Kindergarten with excellence.  At its discretion, VCS will present Exemplary Preschool Scholar Award(s) at the preschool’s commencement, each Award valued at $1,000, for qualified preschool graduates who have demonstrated proficiency of required kindergarten readiness skills for VCS and have received an acceptance letter for admission to Valley Christian Schools.
