What's so special about Neighborhood Chrisitan Center?
Our Creative Emergent Curriculum allows children to learn at their own level and challenges them to climb to new heights. Children gain confidence in themselves and their relationships with others. They learn to relate in a positive manner to peers, adults and the world around them. Our natural setting gives them all opportunities to explore and create. This is called “Natural Learning”.
The children are surrounded by a Christian atmosphere of respect and loving appreciation for each person and for the wonders of God’s world. Each child is encouraged to progress at his/her own rate of speed toward enriched experiences, self discipline and the ability to make good choices.
Our site has a 1/2 acre open and shaded outdoor area which contains a large organic garden where the children learn and explore. Our center also strives to teach children respect for all the cultures of the world. We teach this through the classroom setting and with interaction with our amazing staff and families who come from all over the world and share their life experiences with the children.
As students gain a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ, NCC strives to plant the seed of the knowledge of God who gave us life and "who loves us just the way we are." (John 3:16)
Applying to Attend NCC is easy!
1. Call our center and schedule a tour of our facility(408)984-3418 or attend an open house of your choice. Children are always welcome for tours!
2. Fill out our Application Form for classrooms with current openings or Waitlist Form for any class that is currently Waitlisted.
3. Return the requested Form and Fee to the NCC office anytime Monday-Friday between the hours of 8a-6pm to start the enrollment process. Please Note: The enrollment process takes a minimum of 7 days to complete.
