GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The positions available are responsible for the general supervision and management of our classes that serve ages 2-4-year-olds. Candidates must be professionally prepared as a teacher of young children, including meeting the minimum educational requirements set forth by local and California State Licensing. As a Master Teacher, you are responsible for overseeing both the classroom environment and student interactions, ensuring that boundaries are maintained and educational goals are met.

POSITION: Full-Time Fully Qualified Teacher

SCHEDULE: Must work Monday to Fridays, 7:30 am -5:30 pm.

CLASSROOM: PRESCHOOL

STARTING SALARY: $28.00/hour with benefits depending on ECE units and experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have an understanding and ability to implement Christian values with students, families, and co-workers as well as consistent beliefs with that of Neighborhood Christian Center. PLEASE READ OUR MISSION STATEMENT HERE.

• Minimum of 12 ECE units required, including core classes, AA in ECE preferred but not mandatory

• Knowledgeable with play-based, emergent curriculum and outdoor classroom approach.

• Ability required: standing, walking, using hands, reaching with hands and arms, bending, kneeling, and crouching. Must be able to lift and or move up to 40 pounds frequently.

POSITION: Full-Time Fully Qualified Infant Teacher

SCHEDULE: Must work Monday to Fridays, 7:30 am -5:30 pm.

CLASSROOM: INFANTS

STARTING SALARY: $28.00/hour with benefits depending on ECE units and experience
